The canals of Amsterdam are one of the most famous features of the city. In total, there are 165 canals, which are 75 km long in total. The oldest canal has been around since 1385. Moreover, they serve as the backdrop for various events and festivals, including the annual Pride Parade and the Amsterdam Light Festival.
There are so many canal boats that visitors have plenty of choices to explore this capital city.
